Howard Megdal: Quite a week in the WNBA, as always. So glad to chat about it. The place I’d like to start is the Connecticut Sun. I wrote a column about their pursuit of the second seed, but Erica, you were there Saturday. What were your impressions, having seen all the top teams up close, as to how the Sun stack up to the Lynx and Sparks?

Erica Ayala : From Saturday’s game, I saw a fiery Connecticut team. They were not afraid to run the court and get physical underneath with a solid Dallas team.

I see a team with poise, but also a team with lots of passion. The theme for CT right now is “next man up”. They seem to be playing well as a team. That is something LA struggled to do at MSG on Sunday
