Okay, here’s the deal: Becky Hammon is an option for every coaching job in the world. Women. Men. Doesn’t matter. And she probably shouldn’t take any of them, not when the San Antonio Spurs sure look like they are grooming her to become the first woman to coach an NBA team. That’s about making history. But the idea of Hammon taking Loyd’s game to the next level, guiding Stewart toward championship glory, well, it would be nothing short of amazing.
