If the Storm are looking for experience, they could hardly do better than Hall of Fame coach Anne Donovan, who led the Storm to the 2004 WNBA title. She was in Seattle for the recent all star game, and remains a close observer of the game since she left the Connecticut Sun following the 2015 season. And there’s always Dan Hughes, who left the San Antonio Stars after the 2016 season, but could be tempted back by a chance to coach Stewart, Jewell Loyd and company—he’s a two-time WNBA coach of the year, but never won that elusive WNBA title.
