The Summitt staff votes: WNBA Eastern Conference All Stars
East frontcourt: Elena Delle Donne, Washington Mystics
New town, new team, same Elena Delle Donne. It’s easy to lose how impressive all of her individual skills are because there are so many of them, but briefly: she’s high-volume scorer, yet boasts a true shooting percentage of 61.6. She’s constantly double, triple-teamed, yet she never turns the ball over, just 8.4 percent this year, 6.5 percent career mark, best in the history of the WNBA. Her block percentage is 3.7 percent, making her a solid rim protector, and she’s even stepped up her steal percentage to 2.2 this season, making her a defensive presence everywhere on the court. She’s transcendent. She’s Seattle-bound.
