The Summitt WNBA Power Rankings, June 13 edition
5. Seattle Storm
So this feels simultaneously low and high. The Storm have looked unbeatable at times this season, Breanna Stewart put up 23 and 10 in three quarters Sunday, Sue Bird scored 21 and added 10 assists. And yet: Seattle also lost Sunday, with Stewart fouling out and a Bird-run team somehow committing four turnovers in the final minute-plus to lose a very winnable game. The Storm are very good, but still need to figure some things out, including: where is Carolyn Swords? Why trade the sixth pick in the draft for a rim protector the team needs, then not use her? We’re confused.
