1. Minnesota Lynx

…who are happy to play, and destroy, anybody right now. This was covered in-depth yesterday, but note that the Lynx have the three best players in Offensive Rating in the league right now in Sylvia Fowles, Rebekkah Brunson and Maya Moore. And that the three of them excelling is a direct result of what each does on the floor, while Moore’s numbers are actually lower than expected because of a shooting slump that lasted until the past two games. And we’re not even talking about the Minnesota defense, which is, and stop me if you’ve heard this, best in the WNBA, and by a large margin. Think of the Lynx as Icarus, except his wings are indestructible and the sun has fouled out of the story because it couldn’t cover Sylvia Fowles.
