Winners of four in a row, the fightin’ Delle Donnes are managing to win games without Emma Meesseman or even approaching their expected level of shooting, given the personnel on hand. Yet they are top half of the league in defensive efficiency, a goal of coach Mike Thibault, and second-best in rebounding percentage. So either their true talent level is reflected in that 31.6 percent mark from three, or it’s going to get even tougher to beat Washington, and soon.
