New York Liberty: Epiphanny Prince and Kia Vaughn represent a pair of significant losses for a team that’s struggling to find consistency so far this season already. The good news is, at least the team knows how to weather such losses, especially Prince, who missed most of 2016 with a knee injury. Sugar Rodgers will have to step forward once again and play starter minutes at the two. Vaughn’s absence will mean more minutes for Amanda Zahui B and the need for more production from Kiah Stokes. But as Prince showed in Seattle, scoring 19 points on mostly self-created shots, there’s little anyone can do to reproduce her work on the court. The Liberty are sure going to miss them both.
