New York Liberty Brittany Boyd replacements: signings, Kelsey Plum trade

A pair of intriguing options who were drafted but failed to stick with WNBA rosters are potential Liberty possibilities as well. The ninth overall pick in the 2017 draft, Tori Jankoska, is a potential solution at lead guard. She’s an excellent three-point shooter and penetrator, plays defense the way Laimbeer demands, and still managed to tally an assist percentage near 30 percent.

Fitzgerald, meanwhile, finished with the fourth-best assist percentage in the country, while her turnover percentage was the lowest of anyone in the top 25. She’s a perfect fit for what the Liberty need to improve the most, though less of a change-of-pace guard if they are looking to simply replace what Boyd does.
