Washington Mystics (+5, -110)
Los Angles Sparks (-5, -110)
Total: 163.5

Two teams that most would agree are among the contenders for the title this season, the Sparks and Mystics both come into tonight 1-0 after positive season openers. Even without Candace Parker, the Sparks got production all across the board from their starters, but Odyssey Sims was a revelation off the bench. Scoring 20 points on 9-of-15 shooting, while also dishing out six assists, Sims looked like a re-energized player after arriving in LA via trade in the offseason from Dallas.

On the other side of the country, the new-look Mystics looked pretty solid in game one, especially considering former Spark member Kristi Toliver (8 points, 4 assists)  only arrived on Monday, while 2015 all-star Emma Meesseman (13 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists) showed up two days before opening tip. Meanwhile the other offseason acquisition you may have heard of, Elena Delle Donne, dropped 24 points in just under 24 minutes, on a stellar 72.7% shooting. The Sparks are raising their championship banner tonight, which is absolutely worth noting, but I’m going against the grain and taking the Mystics with those five points, and though I’m really tempted to go under, I’ll say its a barnburner and take the over.
