We learned last week that FanDuel would offer a WNBA daily fantasy game for the first time in 2017. On Thursday, we got a look at exactly what it will look like.

The game will be free to all fans and include prizes from merchandise to court side tickets, according to a release.

The daily game will ask fans to build a seven-player roster within a given budget, complete with three guards and four forwards. Like any fantasy game, fans can earn points based on how those players perform that day. A three-point field goal, for example, will be worth three points, a free throw will be worth one, and a rebound will be worth 1.2. The full scoring breakdown can be found here.

WNBA president Lisa Borders saw this as an opportunity to expand the WNBA fanbase and further engage existing fans. In the league’s release, she said:

"“We are constantly looking to innovate by finding new opportunities to engage with our passionate fans and introduce the WNBA to wider audiences. This partnership with FanDuel and our new one-day fantasy game will be a fresh, unique way for fans to further connect with their favorite WNBA players and teams throughout our season.”"

In addition, FanDuel will also offer the WNBA Tip-Off Challenge, which will run for the first two weekends of the regular season. This will include a series of Tip-Off Qualifier games, with the grand prize winner earning the opportunity to sit court side at the WNBA Finals with an NBA legend.

The regular season tips off on Saturday and by the end of the weekend, all 12 WNBA teams will have played a game.
