1. San Antonio Stars (25,670,000,000,000 miles)

Alpha Centauri, the closest star to Earth other than our sun, is approximately 25,670,000,000,000 miles away. For simplicity’s sake, that’s the number we will go with. If any San Antonio fans want to convince me that the name refers to stars further away, I’m all ears. But you guys earn the top spot in the rankings regardless, so maybe don’t run up the score. I would have given you only the distance from our star (the sun) to the Earth, but the Connecticut team has that one taken.
