Plenette Pierson, a free agent acquisition for the Lynx, has said she’ll do whatever is needed to help her new team rack up victories.

“I pride myself, on my career, on doing the intangible things…setting screens, diving on the floor for loose balls, just playing defense,” she said.

Entering her 15th season, Pierson has a reputation for setting screens, and she thrives the contact. There haven’t been too many collisions in practice though.

“The vets pretty much know what kind of screens I’m going to set,” she said.
