CHERYL REEVE

Don’t tell Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve that her team is too old to contend for a title this year.

“The first one that says we’re old is getting put out,” she said jokingly to the media scrum.

The topic of age has appeared frequently over the last few years. However, her projected rotation has a combined 87 years of experience. Knowledge is never in short supply at Minnesota.

“Everything is easy,” she said. “We don’t have to drill down into minutiae to teach. I don’t have to explain to them how it feels to compete at a high level.”

Reeve covered several topics in her discussion with the media, including some methods to refine the skills of Seimone Augustus and Sylvia Fowles.
