Kaela Davis, Dallas Wings (+1900)

DALLAS, TX – APRIL 2: Kaela Davis
DALLAS, TX – APRIL 2: Kaela Davis

The second Gamecock on the list, and neither was the second overall draft pick. Davis has professional basketball in her blood, as her father Antonio Davis spent 15 years in the NBA, and she has the same type of grit her father was known for. Named the Most Outstanding Player of the Stockton Regional in the 2017 NCAA tournament, Davis scored nearly 16 points per game during postseason play, including four 20-point game performances in the postseason, while elevating her true shooting percentage from the high 40s in the regular season to the mid-60s in March. A lot of the same things mentioned about Gray could be said for Davis. It’s a long shot, but Davis could sneak into the ROY conversation if the chips fall the right way.
