Allisha Gray, Dallas Wings (+600)

DALLAS, TX – APRIL 02: Allisha Gray
DALLAS, TX – APRIL 02: Allisha Gray

Big time players step up at big times. This certainly was true for Gray during the 2017 Final Four. After putting up 18 points and eight rebounds against Stanford in the semifinals, she followed that up with a double-double (18 and 10), helping South Carolina win their first-ever national championship. Her decision to enter the draft surprised some, but its hard to argue that her stock could get much higher. The 6’0 guard averaged 13.2 PPG on 51% FG, 5 RPG and nearly 4 APG last season, proving she can do a little bit of everything. Having only made the playoffs once in the past seven seasons, the Wings need all the help they can get. Its been two seasons since Skylar Diggins had an injury-free year and if she does miss time, Gray will see even more time on the court. Looking at Dallas’ other options, Gray should play plenty, and I think she has a real shot at taking top rookie honors.
