Dallas Wings

PICKS

Round 1 Pick 3 Evelyn Akhator, F/C, Kentucky

Round 1 Pick 4 Allisha Gray, G, South Carolina

Round 1 Pick 10 Kaela Davis, G/F, South Carolina

Round 2 Pick 11 Breanna Lewis, C, Kansas State

Round 3 Pick 2 Saniya Chong, PG, Connecticut

A lot to like here from Greg Bibb’s Wings. In Akhator, they have a player they can try and develop as a Glory Johnson-type four, an athletic, projectable big. Gray and Davis will contribute on both ends as useful complements to the Skylar Diggins Experience. Lewis is a long classic five who opened eyes with the Wildcats, particularly with a strong performance against Connecticut this season. And Chong not only makes few mistakes on the offensive end while shooting the three at a high percentage, she rated third in the country, per Synergy, in defensive points per possession.
