2017 WNBA Draft Pick 4: Dallas Wings Select Allisha Gray
With their second pick in the first round of the WNBA Draft, the Dallas Wings selected guard Allisha Gray out of South Carolina.
Gray, who renounced her remaining eligibility after helping South Carolina to a national title, is a big, versatile guard who can get to the rim consistently and defend twos. She’ll pair alongside Skylar Diggins nicely in the backcourt, going a long way toward replacing the traded Odyssey Sims.
Gray scored 18 points, added 10 rebounds and three blocks in the championship game for Dawn Staley’s Gamecocks.
