4: Allisha Gray, G, Dallas Wings
A surprise late entrant into the draft, Gray does many things the Wings need. She can shoot the three—36 percent in her collegiate career. She can defend—allowed just 0.625 points per possession, per Synergy, in the 2016-17 season for a South Carolina team near the top of the country in defensive efficiency. She’s big enough to steal some time at the three against smaller lineups, and presents a size mismatch at the two. That matters for the team that finished last in the league in defensive rating last year.
