RESERVES

Jenna Staiti, Maryland: The 6’6 presumed heir to Brionna Jones’ spot at center is on the move, one year after ESPN rated her the 16th-best player in the country as a high school senior. Staiti didn’t play a ton freshman year, but put up solid stats when she did, including a 14.3 rebounding percentage and double-digit assist percentage out of the post… Brenna Wise, a 6′ wing with improving three-point efficency during her sophomore year and plus rebounding (8.7 percent of available boards) for her position… Bree Horrocks, from Purdue: Teams looking for legit size and immediate contribution will be after Horrocks, who is a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility likely remaining… Tori McCoy, from Ohio State: ESPN’s tenth-best freshman last year made the all-Big Ten Freshman Team, will be immediate rim protector for whoever gets her… 5’7 Junior Shrita Parker, asked to carry the scoring load for Rutgers, led the team in points per game while distributing (19.4 assist percentage) and her 86.4 percent from the free throw line suggests her sub-30 percent accuracy from three could improve… Aliyah Jeune, with 2/3 size at 6’1, did much the same for the Scarlet Knights, and presents defensive versatility for her new team… Kiah Gillespie, 6’2 sophomore from Maryland, has 3/4 size, with the rebounding (12.5 rebounding percentage) and court vision (14.2 assist percentage) reflective of her work on a pair of Big Ten championship teams.
