The 6’2 do-it-all wing is off to a scalding start for the Indiana Fever after she successfully took on the leading offensive role for Pokey Chatman last season. For the second straight season, Dupree took more than 14 shots per 36 minutes, topped 20 in defensive rebounding percentage, while greatly limiting her turnovers despite having the ball in her hands quite a bit. So far in 2019, Indiana runs its offense through Dupree even more. She just does everything well, scoring off screens, on put-backs, even ranking in the top third of the league, per Synergy, in post-ups last season. Her defending, per Synergy, rated 15th in the league among the 53 players with minimum 200 defensive possessions. She’s an indispensable part of an improving Fever team.
